The depletion of fossil energy reserves and the emission which is not environmentally friendly causes need to use renewable as an alternative. Biopellet a biomass-based in Indonesia. Bio-pellets are produced from large biomass base. Thus, bio-pellets have potential promise continue be used fuel by humans. literature review covers characteristics rice husk application with addition Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) additive bio-pellets. can made mixing adhesive concentration 15% (w/w), then stirring until homogeneous put into pellet mill printed. pellets were dried oven for 30 minutes. Characteristically, meet SNI 8021-2014 parameters ash content, fixed carbon calorific value, moisture volatile matter content. Applying furnace also shows good performance heat, efficiency, parameters. In conclusion, biopellet current promising potential.
